August 2019-Cutie pictures of Grace, 8 months

Gracie in my old dress before church.
She is delightful. She is sleeping through the night (I didn't even know this could exist before a year old!) and crawling everywhere, just started pulling herself up to things (but I pull her back down, stop growing!), and has to move her head and join every conversation-which makes feeding her really difficult. She loves food recently-as evidenced in church on Sunday. I was watching Russ to make sure he didn't snatch more than one piece of bread, started to pass the tray, she grabs two fistfuls before I even notice! She always gives a huge grin whenever you look at her and just spreads sunshine everywhere. I've rocked her to sleep a couple of times recently and she is just getting so big in my arms, it's killing me. She is our first kid to LOVE being thrown in the air and the higher the better. Add a raspberry at the end and she laughs out loud. She has the most intent stare and the other night she pushed my whole face away so she could keep staring at her cousins and watching them, haha. Her double chin is still my favorite. She really loves to splash in the tub. She is just the happiest, and we could not love her more! Ah Gracie girl, stay little forever!!!!!

Crazy Molly wants to always be the mama--and she loves her baby Gracie so so much! They are adorable!
Best friends forever!

Ruth Baptism

Ruth was baptized by her dad and confirmed by her Grandpa Jack Rasmussen a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, August 3rd 2019. It was beautiful and wonderful and made me cry and feel all the really good feelings of having SUCH an amazing family there (both sides!) to support our beautiful girl and knowing that she was making such a wonderful decision and feeling the spirit so strong.

The very first thing she said to me as she walked up the stairs and into the bathroom was "That felt reeeeeeally good, I want to do it again!" She was thrilled that so many of her cousins and friends could be there. She was beaming.
I wish we would've gone outside to take these after, but Ruth is so loved! Grandma and Grandpa Rasmussen

I thought I was fairly prepared. Turns out, things took longer to set up than I'd imagined. But she got her ice cream sundaes and everyone enjoyed them!
Grandma Cindy was there!

Jenny and Reagan and baby Claire were there!!

Eatin' sundaes! The twins and Claire and Will and Oskar.

Bridget and Cade came with Kai and Philip! We love love love the effort that our family's made to be here for Ruthie!

Chantelle came with her girls--specifically Olivia, we went to her baptism at the beginning of the summer, and I'm so glad these girls have each other!
We love you Olivia!
More supportive cousins that were there-Devaney, Harriet, and Eli

SOOO many cousins thanks to Derek coming from Canada and everyone in Utah!

Olivia and Garrett. Olivia flew out JUST BECAUSE Ruthie individually invited her and wanted her to come so bad. Family means so much, and that is exactly why--they'll fly across the country for you. THANK YOU OLIVIA FOR BEING THE GREATEST COUSIN. We love you so much and it meant the world.
Russ, Annabel, Clover

Oskar and Will--love these two.
