I was super impressed that the kids didn't seem to be bothered by the cold at all-they played outside the entire time we were in Utah. Guess it's only going to be me that has zero acclimation ability when we move back somewhere with four seasons.

In Florida, having outdoor gatherings for COVID is not a big deal, but December cookouts are an entirely different ballgame in Utah! Luckily---it was such a blast!

I have really been so lucky throughout homeschooling during COVID to have friends to keep me company and help me do activities with our kids. Sharon Needel (Skyla's mom) put together a scavenger hunt for SEVERAL of our nature walks. So fun.

Seeing Bear at the park every evening is part of the routine now. Good thing she loves us all so much!
