Weekend around Sept 15ish 2020 (ocean/swimming pool/perm)

We met up with Lindsey Harper and her boys at Lantana Beach by Dune Deck Cafe. I was terrified the entire time because the rip current was so strong and the life guards kept walking down to warn us. Eventually I told my kids no swimming and we just played in the sand.

Before our pool opened, our awesome friend Dixie had invited us to her house quite a few times to swim in her pool and watch a movie afterward with pizza. We had so much fun and my kids loved it--her kids are great and I miss having playgroup on Wednesday mornings so I get to chat with Dixie every week. Sigh.

Luckily, our pool opened! And we got to hang out with our friends that live in Bexley (it was closed to any visitors from outside our HOA).

Wally turned 8! 

I was teasing him one night by putting pants on his head and he thought it was HILARIOUS. So then he went to sleep like that a few nights in a row. Silly kid.

I permed by hair-so here's a before and after. I was sick of the humidity making it partially curly but not ALL the way curly and if I straightened it, the humidity made it curly the second I stepped outside, and if I curled it, the heat flattened it out. Getting a perm was awesome. So easy. So fast. Always looked cute. And it fell out pretty quick so it wasn't *quite* so curly and mostly just a nice even look. Fun change!
