We figured we had enough time before the rain to ride our bikes to pick up Russ from speech and get home again. Russ's teacher said "Do you think you'll make it?" and I said "Oh yeah, we'll be fine!" and two minutes later....it was raining so hard I almost lost a contact out of my eye and couldn't see. We rode past the landscaping crew and they were all scrunched together inside one of their big trucks to be out of the rain and they started LAUGHING at us. It was hilarious.
