South Beach with the Anderson's

We saved the last day Chantelle and Jeremy were here to be a beach day because it was supposed to be 80 degrees and gorgeously sunny. It ended up raining. All. Day. Long. We decided to go to the beach anyway, and it was awesome!

But first, a couple random photos from at home.

Daphne the cook.
Playing kitchen was their favorite thing to do at our house.
Ruth's pose here. I die. I just die!
And here.
Molly is a mini-me in so many ways. Not the least of which is her love for babies. She could not get enough of Phoebe. Even though Phoebe weighs 17 lbs and Molly weighs almost 19. HAHAAHAA.

The beach was beautiful on the rainy day. I wish we had paid for longer parking, as it was we were hurrying along to the pier. But I really feel like I need to take my kids back on a rainy day and just let them get wet and splash. The water is beautiful, the beach is empty, the ocean spray and light sprinkling is wonderful to feel against the blazing humidity. It was so beautiful. The ocean is enchanting in stormy weather.

Looks like a tropical island. oh yeah, Miami pretty much is.

Wet and sandy. Just the way she liked it. Haha.

We saw several fish that I think were barracudas.

I love this. I love how dark the sky is. How green the ocean is. So pretty.
Cutie patootie.

It was such a pretty afternoon. I'm sorry for the rain during their vacation, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Oh, after going to the zoo, Chantelle and I came home but Jeremy and Sterling went on an airboat ride in the Everglades and LOVED it!!! Sterling wants to take me so bad now! He said it was so fun! He even took some pictures on his phone and sent them to satiate my photo-lovers heart.

Sneaky little gator.

And one last pic of Chantelle reading to everyone. Love her.
We had such a great time! Come back tomorrow!!! Haha. It was so much fun for our kids to have constant friends around to play with and to have so much fun playing games every night. We had a blast.

That's what I've ALWAYS wanted to do--the airboat ride in the Everglades. I can't believe I lived in FL and never did it. Ruff. The sea and sky were pretty too. Glad you had fun with your friends!
