This was such a great event! Ruth was absolutely thrilled and looking forward to it all week long!
He took her to the dance where they got a corsage, which was fake so she can keep it (she wore it to church on Sunday, it was the cutest thing ever), and she saw some of her friends from school. I'll have to upload those phone pics, because Sterling knows me and took some while there, and some video--good man!
Sterling and Ruth both had a wonderful time at the dance! For dinner they left a bit early and went to a place by our house (an adorable 50's diner) for a pizza slice. If the night hadn't already been perfect with dresses and sparkles and jewels, the pizza was the cherry on top for Ruthie. That girl loves pizza!
Ruth really was just over the moon. Sterling was so excited to be able to spend the time with her. It was such a sweet thing and such a special night for them. I'm so glad that they were able to go!
Daddys and daughters have a special bond.
