This is Halloween!

Before the ACTUAL day of Halloween, our ward (or rather, three wards in our area) held a trunk-or-treat. We were late, it was a crazy night, and I'm amazed we made it there in one piece. But the kids got candy and cookies and cupcakes and played a few games and seemed to really love it!

I had been coaching Will on saying 'trick-or-treat' the week before, and Ruthie in turn became his mini-life coach "come on Will, say 'trick-or-treat'. If you want candy buddy, you have to say it..." hahaahaa. You can bet he had it down pat and said it in the PERFECT BABY LISP! Oh, I could listen to him talk like that for the rest of my life. Twick oh Tweat. Heart eyes all over the place.

Molly, of course, wouldn't keep her antlers on and Will said it was too hot for his head (HAHA) so I was glad I snapped a couple quick pictures at the very beginning.
Olaf, Sven, Anna

Thanks to a friend in our ward who did Ruthie's hair in a crown braid while I taught her daughter's piano lessons. Good times!

I had to put this picture in because she held on to those cookies for HOURS! So funny.
Shout out to my awesome sister Amy who sent the cutest Halloween outfit to Ruthie. I love it so much and it's a skirt--so of course she loves it, too!!!

Being scary.
On the actual day of Halloween we headed over to Evelyn Greer park for a track-or-treat. Very few people in our complex trick or treat and so we decided to go to the park. Sterling actually took the kids last year while I stayed home with an itty-bitty Molly.

We walked in and found another Anna, so we took a picture!
The biggest blow-up toys I have ever seen.

The line. I stood in this horrible line while the kids went on a kiddie ride over and over and over again with Sterling and had an absolute blast. I was jealous at first, but then they loved the big jumpy toy SOOOOO much that it was totally worth standing in line for.

The kiddie ride with no line.

Along the track at the park they just have a ton of booths set up from people/businesses in the community (Pinecrest) and they all hand out the candy to kids. Or they get really cool and hand out cotton candy--one booth was even handing out nutella crepes!

Finally on the BIG BIG BIG jump toy.

Hahaha Will FLEW down the slide in his slick costume!!!!!

We came home very hot and sweaty and tired, but the kids had such a blast! And that's a wrap for Halloween 2015!

Awe, I love that your outfits all went together! This is the cutest post! And the picture of Molly with her cookies is so distinct. I used to think she looked like the other two but no.. She is Molly, and she is gorgeous!
