YAY! First excitement over the first present!

Will's is a lion. 

Ah, there is just so much magic on Christmas! It was so fun to see them with their toys. Watch the excitement and the fun. Ruth was all about opening presents and loving every minute of it. Will was a bit overwhelmed by everything, but has since REALLY enjoyed playing with his toys. What a sweetheart. I love the anticipation of giving presents and seeing the expressions of the receiver. It was just such a great Christmas for us.

I know his expression doesn't show it, but this is by far the most played with present from Christmas. He loves it!

I made Ruthie a blanket for her baby to go with the blanket for her big-girl bed.

Ruthie's quilt! The very first I've ever made with actual squares. It was a ton of work but she really likes it, despite not wanting her picture taken.

Ethan was also very excited about his wii player control thingees. 

So after opening presents Sterling took a couple hour nap while I played with the kids, and then we switched. It was much needed sleep and a perfect afternoon. The kids had a great time playing with their new presents. Ruthie got a shopping cart from grandma, and Will got a wagon. After Sterling put them together, they had a ton of fun with them! (spoiled rotten!)

AHAAHAA! Love this. Ruth was pushing too fast for Will to keep up with.

Don't worry, I was watching. He only almost fell out a couple of times. 

It was an incredibly wonderful Christmas, full of wonderful family and a wonderful spirit. Oh I just love those two kids of mine! I can't remember what we did the rest of the day. I do remember that Bridget and Cade stopped by and we were still in sweats and pajamas and they thought it was hilarious. I am so glad we got such a relaxing day!
