Bear Lake Post-Reunion Fun

Mom and Dad's garden was just INSANE all summer. My kids woke up, pulled on shoes, and followed grandma and grandpa down to the garden almost EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING that we were in Utah. And I definitely think it was a highlight of the trip. They LOVED going down to the garden to help!

After the reunion Will had and allergic reaction (possibly just super intense hay fever) that landed us in the ER. Luckily, the beautiful hospital was quick at giving him some steroids and benadryl and sent us home to recover that night.

He had to sleep sitting up that first night.
On to Bear Lake! After the reunion everyone was still around so we headed to Bear Lake for a day. It was a little intense. Who knew that Bear Lake gets so busy they close for a while mid-day until people clear out so they can let more in? Luckily, even though it was closed off, we all managed to get in and find each other. Then the weather was awful and half way through Jared and Megan decided to pull their boat out. But it was still such a great time with everyone and my kids loved the mud!

Will has been talking about riding on that boat for two years, because we have a picture of him on it at Bear Lake from last time we were in Utah. He loved it just as much!

Mom's chocolate cakes. It was Jethro's birthday and so we celebrated. With cake and fudge icing. I have literally never tasted anything so divine in my entire existence.
