September things (a lot of Gracie)

I think this corner of the kitchen was my kids' entire world this summer. They were always sitting there. I'm so grateful for a mom who lets them build those memories with her! They love her so so much! (Plus, she's always making something tasty, so it's worth it to be sitting there!)
Heading to work and watching the kids walk to the bus stop. So crazy that we had that experience for a month! So fun!

Love this girl. Met up with her one night when I was working in Ogden and before I headed back home. There is no one in this world that I admire more and we jumped right into our days of 8 hour shifts at the hotel chatting and chatting away (I mean, we wrote a musical back then, we definitely never failed to have things to say to each other!!!). She is such a gem and such an incredible single mother and working so hard in school and I just love her to pieces--even with all that she still listens to my close-to-my-heart woes and hears everything about my life that I don't normally share. I am SO glad I fit another visit in with her before we left for Florida.
Kami got me this shirt from her dentist in WY and it makes me so, so happy.

Cutest cutie Gracie!

Russ wouldn't ever leave Garrett alone and it made EVERYONE laugh because it bothered Garrett so much haaahaaa.

She's the cutest! I missed her SOOOOOOOO much when I was working a lot. And it was so great that everyone loved her so much so I knew she was getting cuddled and hugged and held and loved while I was gone.

Wyoming-Mad Scientist Party - Sept 8

I drove all the way to Wyoming for a mad scientist party--and I'm so glad I did! Kami is amazing as always and my kids had the time of their lives! Andrea and I dropped our older kids off and went back to Kami's to watch our babies and Kami's babies. But at the rec center they had all sorts of experiments--Will was especially enthralled and had such a great time!
Just some of the goodies-a rat, some test tubes, a beaker.
Andrea and I had a fabulous time chatting while babysitting and it was just what I needed. Thanks Ands!
Afterwards we went to a State Park (I think?) by their house and had hot dogs and cake. It was so relaxed and so much fun. I forget sometimes how awesome it is to have sisters. Kami, Andrea and I were on one that night and I feel like we could have kept chatting for DAYS.

It was really, really cold. I forget how fast it gets cold in northern Utah/Wyoming. Barely September but we could have used more jackets! Luckily Kami was prepared and shared around!
We all walked down the path to the bridge and Kami was a hero and waded into the frigid waters to take a picture of all of us. Epic photo.

Logan Temple-FHE September 4th

Over the summer we got to take pictures of and touch the Logan temple, the Cardston temple, and the Salt Lake temple. I tried to make it a point to let the kids have time to touch the temple, and tell them how they can feel the spirit that way. This day we had our FHE on the grounds of the temple. We sang I Love to See the Temple, we invited Kourtney and her girls, and we walked all around it. It was a gorgeous day, and the kids were pretty good considering I really did want some photos to hang on our walls back home and they really did have to act reverently for quite some time. Let's just say, its a really, really good thing my mom was there. I hope they always remember it though!

August (2nd week ish) hike, Gracie in church dress, Karlee with Grace

Going back and forth between August and September way too many times, I realize. But hey, at least I'm labeling the titles for my future self. This starts with a hike we did as a family on Ruthie's birthday!

When your photographer is really short haaahaaa
Ruthie nailed it this time!

Her little cleft chin!
Karlee's hair is my favorite!

Mom and Dad took us out for fries and gravy at the Blue Bird and we gave Gracie a pickle. Her face was hilarious! But she kept eating it :)
