April Part 2, 2020 (Easter eggs and EASTER!)

Blowing bubbles is Russ's fav pastime!

Ruth is an awesome chef and she helped me make pineapple chicken tinfoil dinners.

I didn't have an egg dying kit on hand--but due to the pandemic, I wasn't running to the store. SO we tried the vinegar and food coloring method and it worked like a charm!
I LOVE how he draws faces right now.

Her painful cheese.

When we first started online school, one of the best ways to keep him occupied was play dough. So we ordered some play dough cars and they are phenomenal--he loves them and plays with them so much! You put the play dough in the little car cast and then pull it out and stick it on the wheels to wheel the dough around. So fun. They are Green Toys which is a brand I really really love.

The Easter Bunny came!
The kids had to search and search this year for their bag of candy---I guess the Easter Bunny thought they were more advanced searchers than they might have been haha.

These pics were taken on Easter Sunday. It was pretty awesome to celebrate at home and just really focus on it with our little family. We had been doing our traditional Easter countdown with our nesting eggs and then I shared some things from a book by Emily Belle Freeman, and it was just a really good day.
Wii. MarioKart is our Sunday activity when it's too hot and rainy to go on a walk.

This was a fun project Will had online from his art teacher. She had several different ways to hold your hand and trace it and make it into different things. Will loved it so much he went back and repeated it several times over the next week or so.

Those little legs are my favorite.

Second lost tooth!

We kept the piano practicing going strong for quite awhile.

We started using our little front porch (our only yard) SO MUCH MORE during Stay At Home orders. With the fan going and spraying a mosquito fogger before going outside each morning, it was pretty awesome!

Nutella face!

Will learned to make waffles! By the end he could fill it up and take them off all by himself!

I was cutting the boys' hair and Ruthie decided she wanted to join in. I was a little sad because it was SO LONG, but also, it's just so much easier with a few less inches!

Nice haircut!

Online school meant my babies got WAY too used to using technology while I was trying to focus on the older kids.
