Molly is THREE

Oh Miss Molly. We just love you so much. You are the sass and spirit that brightens the entire household! Happy birthday! How in the world are you already three?

She loves Princess Aurora and Rapunzel and asked for a Rapunzel birthday. She loves lots of colors but most often says pink or purple. She doesn't like her hair done and often pulls it out with big chunks of her hair--we're working on that. She also hates brushing her teeth, and is most helpful at cleaning up when bribed, haha. But she does love to help so much in the kitchen and can pretty much make a strawberry/banana/spinach shake all by herself. She loves to play with our Little People toys and if she is playing it is always with little figures that she has talking back and forth. Even in the pool. And it is the cutest thing ever if you happen to walk by and not disrupt her and you get to catch some of the conversations she is having between them. She chatters and chatters and chatters and also sings. She completely potty-trained in three days but claims she still is so that she can get a treat every time she goes--smart girl. She loves nursery and princesses and chocolate and she told me the other day "Mom, you're a big girl, you don't need a helper--so I want to go to school with Rupee and Will." Haahaa. She loves helping me with the baby for about 10 second increments, but they are very frequent. And she gives the BEST big hugs and squeezes and the cutest little shrieks of excitement. She also says "Rupee and Will can make their beds, but I can't. Because then it is all crumbly." and then she shrugs her shoulders and gallops off. Oh Molly girl, stay three forever!

Waking up to her balloon and cereal--Rapunzel!

I think she was more excited that she woke up to having cutie oranges with breakfast than her cereal. Haha.
Molly hadn't requested too much for her birthday, but seemed pretty excited to go swimming-so we did! She was very emphatic, however, that she wear the swimsuit her new nursery leader gave her because she told her she didn't swim because 'she didn't have a swimsuit.' Hmm.

Awwwwww. I just love watching Ruthie be a big sister. She gets so excited to be able to do things with the baby!

She's big at swimming with her face down in the water now because the older kids have been working on actual strokes in their swim lessons. So she kicks with her face under--and it is really impressive!

She's THREE!

After swimming we had cake. She had requested a Rapunzel cake with pink sparkles. I'd say it turned out pretty perfect (even if the icing was a total flop...I'm blaming the humidity).

She requested hamburgers for her birthday meal. Although, I think there was some confusion. I had asked her earlier what she wanted and she said 'cereal' and I asked what kind and she said 'mac 'n cheese' and then I said well, for dinner and she said 'hamburgers'. She ate the meat and nothing else, but I think she liked it!
She was pretty thrilled about this mermaid barbie. Another little girl had one at the pool a few weeks before and she was in love. It must be a perfect 3 yr old girl toy because when we took it yesterday, another little three year old girl was in love--and while Molly did a really excellent job sharing, it was still a little rough.

Rapunzel!
And a Little People bus! She really does play with them all the time. And the bus has been a big hit!

Dad had to help to open packages. I can't remember what happened here, but apparently it was funny!
Knuffle bunny! Thanks Grandma Cindy! She has it dressed in her own clothes now and sleeps with it at night, so I think it was a big hit!

Happy birthday Molly-girl!
