Russ is almost 2 months old (how did that happen?!?!) so I tried taking some pictures today, but man, baby pictures are so hard! The outside ones had great lighting, but it was too bright for him so he wouldn't open his eyes. The lighting inside is terrible.
Anyway--at approximately 2 months old (in three days) Russ is delightful. He sleeps pretty well--3 and sometimes 4 hour stretches. He has the softest head of hair that everyone rubs when they walk by (of sticks their cheeks on if they are Molly). He is the PERFECT size to cuddle right into and fits perfectly into your arms and when you hold him on your shoulder he snuggles his head right into your neck. He makes adorable baby coos that have all three of his siblings just dying over him. He has smiled quite a few times with this little half smile, and the other night he gave his mama a FULL smile--we can't wait to see more of those!!! He does well in the carrier, thankfully, and usually falls asleep in his carseat, which is also great. Today, by my oh so accurate bathroom measurement, he weighed in at 12.4 pounds--up another pound from his doctor appointment a week or so ago--and is all deliciousness. Today during his bath I counted four thigh rolls-perfection. He has almost grown out of his blessing outfit, so I had to take pictures in that! So far he hasn't been dropped, stepped on, or squished too hard, so I think he's had a pretty successful start!

And then Molly just looked too cute after church today, so I had her smile for a quick picture. She is at such a funny age--I cannot get enough of her hugs and kisses and cheerful jubilance!
