Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

I went with Will's kindergarten class to the pumpkin patch at a little Methodist Church in Delray. It was cute and the kids had a good time. The story teller was fabulous and she picked Halloween books that had stomping and clapping that the kids joined in on, or yelling "boo" at the end of every page, so it was really entertaining. They all got to pick a pumpkin for a dollar and Will was VERY excited about that. I really cannot believe my Will is in Kindergarten!!!! How do things like this happen!??!!?

I'm adding these pictures into this post because Florida is still so different for me. The rest of the world(that has seasons) is pulling out coats and sweaters and buying ice for their driveways. But in Florida you see power-washer trucks EVERYWHERE these days. One has spent the last three days in Bexley Park going over all the sidewalks in our community. The above is after being power washed (it looks dark in some areas, but it was just still wet) and below is before. The rainy season does such a number on things here and moss/mold grows like crazy. There was an area of sidewalk in front of our mailboxes that seriously felt like you were walking over foam, not sidewalk. So the power washers come out and do sides of buildings and tops of playground equipment and sidewalks. They get rid of all the summer rainy season crazy mold buildup and everything looks fresh again for a little while. I love it.
